Mortgage funds are investment vehicles where investors’ capital is used to finance property loans. These loans are typically secured by registered mortgages over the properties, providing a level of security for investors. Investors receive interest from borrowers as a return on their investment and as the borrower repays the loan, capital is returned to investors.

The term of investment into loans typically range between 1 and 3 years.

A developer needs capital to fund his next property development and approaches RMBL to apply for a loan. Working with an expert panel of valuers, engineers and quantity surveyors, our experienced team assesses the loan and offers a first mortgage with specified terms.
Investors are then offered the opportunity to invest in the loan and share the income from the loan’s interest payments. The interest rates provide an attractive return and investors can elect to reinvest their income or have it paid monthly.
Unlike pooled funds, RMBL’s select mortgage fund offer investors the autonomy to select the loans in which they wish to invest and are free to decline any loans that do not align with their preferences.
