Empowering abilities and building better futures
Our first significant donation through the newly established RMBL Foundation has been made to Wallara Australia, a sector leading non-for-profit organisation for adults with different abilities.
Founded to help children with disabilities in the Dandenong area, Wallara now provides community based day care services and accommodation for over 650 clients across 30 sites in Melbourne’s south-east, supported by a team of more than 500 staff.
Wallara’s mission is to build understanding, awareness and support for people with intellectual (PWID). One of their key initiatives is Sages Cottage Farm, located in Baxter, Victoria. The 38-acre property features a café, gift shop and a range of training program in horticulture, hospitality and farm animal care. The farm is operated by 100 young people with intellectual disability and/or autism, all with NDIS Plans, and a team of 20 Support Coaches from diverse professional backgrounds.
RMBL Foundation is proud to contribute to Wallara's next exciting project: the Inclusive Jobs Hub and Education Centre at Sages Farm. Funded entirely by community donations, this new facility will triple Wallara’s capacity to train and empower people with different abilities, offering multi-purpose spaces for skills development and employment pathways.
At RMBL, we are committed to building strong, lasting relationships with the community. By investing in organisations like Wallara, we aim to create positive social impact and help communities thrive now and into the future.
